Description The Imants penetrometer is a hand held, professional compaction meter to locate and monitor the compaction levels in the soil/root zone. Understanding the degree of compaction enables the right procedure to be taken to eliminate excessive levels. Lack of air in compacted soil is a major problem, as the roots need access to oxygen to survive. Digital Verti-Gage
The VERTICUT-GAGE is a precision measuring instrument for accurately setting the desired depth on verticutter units.
HOW IT WORKS
First, the VERTICUT-GAGE™ needs to be zeroed out. Set the VERTICUT-GAGE™ on a BENCH-PLATE™ or other suitable flat surface. Press the “zero” button on the face of the gage. The VERTICUT-GAGE™ is now ready to use.To use, set the bar on the front and rear rollers and rotate the blades against the spring loaded indicator block. When the high point is noted, that is the depth of the verticutters. Repeat this process on both sides of the unit as adjustments are made. Make depth (or height) adjustments as desired.

The ACCU-GAGE® is a precision measuring instrument for making highly accurate height-of-cut adjustments on greens, tees, or fairway mowers. By incorporating a dial indicator with a unique adjusting bar apparatus, highly accurate measurements can be made at the cutting edge of the bed knife (to .001 inch), virtually eliminating operator error in both setting the adjustment bar and the mower.
